<p class="text-paragraph">For the first time since 2012, UBT will implement a rate adjustment for all residential customers effective November 1, 2025. This change will help ensure we continue to deliver the safe, reliable, and affordable utilities that the Tuskegee and Macon County communities depend on.</p>

<h4 class="text-title">Residential Customers</h4>
<ul class="list">
<li><strong>Electric Service:</strong> The current base charge is $15 per month.With a <strong>$3</strong> increase, the new base charge will be <span class="text-red-base font-bold">$18</span> per month, regardless of usage.</li>
<li><strong>Water Service:</strong> The current base charge is $18.81 per month. With a <strong>$3</strong> increase, the new base charge will be <span class="text-red-base font-bold">$21.81</span> per month.</li>
<li><strong>Sewer Service:</strong> The current base charge is $33.72 per month. With a <strong>$3</strong> increase, the new base charge will be <span class="text-red-base font-bold">$36.72</span> per month.</li>

<p class="text-paragraph">Effective <span class="font-bold">January 1, 2026</span>, UBT’s power cost adjustment will align with wholesale supplier Energy Southeast’s base Energy Cost Adjustment of <span class="font-bold">$0.031560/kWh</span></p>

<p>Attention UBT Customers: Bills are due on the fifteenth (15th) day of each month. If the fifteenth falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Board-recognized holiday, the due date will be extended to the next business day. Payments not received by the twentieth (20th) day of the month will be considered delinquent, and accounts may be subject to service discontinuance along with additional fees and charges. <p class='text-paragraph'>As a result of the continuing Coronavirus pandemic, the Utilities Board of the City of Tuskegee (UBT) will begin a trial reopening.</p>
<ul>
<li>Effective October 19, 2020, the lobby area of the Municipal Complex willbe open for 2 days a week on Mondays and Wednesdays.</li>
<li>To enter the Complex customers are required to wear appropriate masks.There are no exceptions to this rule.</li>
<li>Also, customers will need to enter the Complex on the Fonville Rd side ofthe building, as that will be the only door open to customers.Temperatures will be checked before you can enter and a short questionnaire will be taken.</li>
<li>Customers can also pay or conduct UBT business by calling our customer service line 334-720-0700 during regular business hours.</li>
<li>The number of customers that will be allowed in the building at one time will be limited to 5. </li>
<li> Customers can also call 1-866-804-9976 to make payments or payments can be made online at www.yourubt.com.</li>
